Kalle Pettersson ⁠is a Swedish senior policy designer working in Experio Lab. This lab is a competence center for design in the public sector based in Region Värmland, in Sweden. In this interview he tells us how the lab works internationally and locally, and the close collaboration they have with the university.

This episode was recorded LiVE in our weekly meetings with the network of designers working in government here in Finland. Every Thursday, we gather as a group of around 70 designers to learn from each other or host external guests. When it’s my turn to lead these meetings, I take a slightly different approach. Instead of asking our guests to prepare a presentation, I interview them directly. These interviews are recorded live during the session, and now I’m publishing them as part of the podcast.
